Agreements

The foundation of a fruitful coaching relationship is clear agreement. Here is a set of agreements I make with my clients as we work together. If you are not 100% on these, then we may not be a good fit for each other.

  • You and I will treat coaching as special type of conversation, one that is designed to propel you forward.
  • You are not paying for time, you are paying for change.
  • You and I are all-in. We will hold nothing back.
  • You and you alone are responsible for your transformation
  • If either of us feels the coaching isn’t having the desired effect, we will discuss it.
  • You and I will go where you normally don’t allow yourself to.
  • Anything is possible in these conversations.

If this resonates with you, feel free to contact me to talk about coaching together.

A Founder's Guide To Navigating A Difficult Fundraise

This is a guide for you, the fundraising founder, on how to get through a difficult fundraise. It’s split across three sections: taking care of yourself, working with investors, and leading the team. My hope is that this guide helps make your fundraise more likely to succeed while staying healthy throughout the process.

Moving fully toward the Inner Critic

This created an insight: moving toward the source of our discomfort is what leads to freedom. As many wisdom traditions tell us, it’s resistance that creates our suffering. Make no mistake, these are all wonderful practices. But they fall short when their intent is to avoid the Critic. Paradoxically, moving fully toward what’s there is the key to internal spaciousness.
