Leadership Transformation Group
Leadership Transformation Group is a coaching program for startup leaders who want to grow their leadership capacity in a group setting. This experience both supports and challenges you to develop skills like building trust, resolving conflict, and handling emotionally challenging situations so that you can lead teams with more confidence and clarity.
Being in LTG provides you with:
Awareness of your blindspots via feedback that you wouldn't get anywhere else
Connection and belonging with others at a similar stage of the startup journey
Growth through reflection, inquiry, and coaching from the group
Space to experiment with new behaviors that expand leadership ability
What startup founders say:
“I'm really glad I decided to sign-up for the founder group. It's been unbelievably valuable in such a short amount of time, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the program.
I have great resources at my disposal as a CEO (advisors, investors, mentors, colleagues, etc..) yet not every challenge I face can be resolved in a quick call or email exchange. I'm a bit shocked by how much I share with the other founders in this group, in terms of the problems we're dealing with, the difficult decisions we need to make, the consequences of making the wrong decision, etc.. Just having a dialogue with like-minded people in a similar situation has been surprisingly refreshing and uplifting. The biggest benefit is how Brian coaches us to be coaches who support each other as we talk through real burning issues. I’m finding this useful for managing my team more effectively but also reducing the unnecessary stress I put on myself.”
Here's how the group works:

FAQ
How much does this cost?
The cost is $750 a month and a 6 month commitment.
How do we interact outside of the sessions?
In addition to the biweekly meetings, the group will also have a shared Slack, suggested readings, and the occasional pre-session assignment.
Who else will be in the group with me?
Founders and executives at early-stage startups who have been personally vetted to ensure active participation and commitment.
Why should I join this when I can be a part of another peer group?
Simply put, most peer groups focus on problem solving, not personal growth. While receiving advice on how to address a challenge is valuable and often necessary, it doesn’t necessarily help us see the patterns that got us feeling stuck in the first place.
In contrast, this group centers on creating greater awareness of ourselves so that we can lead more consciously. The end result is a transformation of the leader themselves.
So we don't share advice in this group?
Advice is certainly welcome in the group. But advice is the equivalent of giving someone a fish as opposed to helping them become a better fisher. In this group, advice sharing takes a backseat to helping members grow so that they become more capable over time.
This sounds sort of touchy feely. Why should I care about this?
Whether you know it or not, you are operating with longstanding patterns that hinder your ability to lead. Not only that, but your team is already inheriting those unconscious patterns, which creates massive bottlenecks to your startup's success. Consider the costs of conflict avoidance, sloppy feedback, and poor emotional regulation. Or micromanagement, burnout culture, and late night Slack emergencies. Whatever is showing up in the company culture, you have a major hand in that. The good news is once you get really familiar with these blindspots, you can create new ways to lead. And that's exactly what this group is designed to help you do.
What's the ROI?
Simply put, you'll boost team performance, increase capital efficiency through quicker iteration, and increase your chances of successfully finding or scaling product-market fit.
So what actually happens in a group session?
Here is a sample of what might take place:
Check-in: a guided exercise to get everyone present in the space
Commitments: a review of the group norms that everyone has created and agreed to
Invitation: a guided exercise to help group members surface a challenge or question they'd like help on
Coaching: participants share their challenges and the group supports through curiosity, open-ended questions, and reflection
Debrief: members reflect on what they’ve learned
Check-out: closing exercise to create new commitments
